About Betwatch

What is Betwatch?

Betwatch is a betting utility you can use to make your gambler’s life easier. On this site, you will find the odds and volumes of the matches available on Betfair Exchange.
If a match is not on Betwatch, it’s because it’s not on Betfair. Easy, right?

Once you have found an interesting match, Betwatch provides you several tools to analyze it as accurately as possible:

Unlike the other websites, data is refreshed very frequently, every 30 seconds to 1 minute on average.
Because they are directly taken from Betfair, figures are supposed to be quite accurate. However, we can’t be held responsible for any erroneous or incomplete on-line results. We do not guarantee either winnings and cannot be held liable for losses resulting from the use of information obtained from here.

How can Betwatch help you?

Accessing the Money Way and the drop of odds enables you either detecting abnormal bet or value bet.

Value Bet

If you notice that an outcome is quoted as 2 or more and represents more than the half of the bets, you may have spotted a value bet: Gamblers find that the odd is sufficiently high for the risk taken, and you may follow them.
However, before placing your bet, make sure you don't miss any essential information (injured player, reserve team, …).

Abnormal Bet

If you notice an issue whose odd keeps going down, even if it was not supposed to, associated with a lot of money on this specific issue, you may have detected an abnormal bet.

First scenario: It is a rumor, false most of the time, which has been spread through social networks, sports betting platforms... This will create what can be called a "snowball effect": The bets will then be important, but without any real basis, this will only be a matter of speculation.

This is especially true at the end of the season. Indeed, speculation is going on when, on the last day of the championship, a team that has to qualify for a European Cup or play its maintenance, faces a team that has nothing left to play...

Second scenario: It may be a fixed match. This is especially the case in small leagues or in rather poor countries, where players can manipulate the outcome of a match to earn extra income. It is up to you to check the club's background, the average bet in normal times, the criminality in the country, whether the match is broadcast or not...

If you feel confident, you can try to bet on the allegedly fixed outcome, but always in low stakes.
